The Ex Machina's secondary ability functions similarly to other launchers with guided rocket abilities, but with a twist rather than the rocket following the cursor, the rocket follows the end of the laser sight, making aiming smoother but more difficult. Rockets fired normally will launch from just above where the laser projects, and function normally throughout their flight. When held, the Ex Machina projects a red laser sight.
The weapon's long description reads as follows: "Serial No: 0451" The design was submitted by a solarium tier pre-order backer, who was granted the ability to design a weapon to be included in the game. It is a rocket launcher weapon with a built-in laser sight. The Ex Machina is a Tier 6 Unique Weapon.
